The PF Short Sump Plug eliminates a common restriction inside Milwaukee-Eight engine cases and maximizes the efficiency of the oil scavenging system. The factory sump plug can partially obstruct the internal scavenge pickup passage, reducing the oil pump's ability to evacuate oil from the sump. The PF Short Sump Plug features a reduced height design that keeps the cross-sump port completely open, allowing unrestricted oil flow to the scavenge side of the pump. Better scavenging means improved oil control, reduced windage, and a more efficient lubrication system.
